Section 01Scope, and what the parent governs

This is the messaging standard for the EVERY1 Movement, and for anyone writing as EVERY1: our team, a partner church, a conference, or an activation.

Every word of doctrine on this page is published by THE WORD Messaging Standard v2.0 and is rendered here from that document rather than restated, so the two cannot disagree. What this page adds is everything specific to EVERY1: its identity, its scripts, its audiences, its voice and its calls to action.

What this page does not carry, and what you should read in the parent standard when you need it: the full theological language, the Scripture standard, capitalization, reporting and provenance rules, and the partnership laws. Those govern EVERY1 too.

The standing rule for this brand. EVERY1 carries no endorsement line and no parent lockup. It is the one door that stands on its own, on the YouVersion model, across the movement, the app, and the activation platform alike. Do not add A ministry of THE WORD FOR ALL THE WORLD to EVERY1 material, and do not place the parent mark beside it.

Section 02Identity

Vision

Every tribe, every tongue, every nation, and EVERY1 will know the name Jesus.Hebrews 8:11

The two lines are set into the vision lockup with the EVERY1 wordmark between them, so the mark is a word in the sentence rather than a logo placed inside it: read top to bottom, the lockup says the vision in full. The sentence itself is stated in the Brand Messaging Guide and read from there, never retyped here. Quote it exactly, and where the lockup is used do not re-set these words in live type beside it: the lockup already says them.

Mission

Empowering the local church to walk in unity to do the great commission & walk in God's calling. (Acts 2:17)

The promise

EVERY1 in the church going to EVERY1 outside of the church.

In plain words

The EVERY1 Movement sends the church out.

Place in the process

The EVERY1 Movement is the second movement of the process. Its word is BURN. A cleaned heart catches fire, and fire starts fire.

What it is

  • A movement of ordinary believers who share Jesus where they already live, work, and study. You are the minister, sent by God everywhere you go.
  • It is a lifestyle, not an event. Membership is simple: you have shared Jesus with at least one person recently. That is the movement.

Who may join

  • Every believer. There is no maturity requirement. When you are born again, you qualify.
  • The movement carries special fire for the young and the newly saved: their fire kindles faster and hotter.

First steps

  • Join the weekly prayer meeting, praying for the lost.
  • Share Jesus with one person this week.
  • Take the free personal evangelism course, offered through the School of the Local Church.

Section 03The mandate

The EVERY1 Movement is the global soul-winning expression of BURN. It unites everyday believers, churches and ministries around one common mission: EVERY1 in the Church for EVERY1 outside the Church. Its horizon is every tribe, every tongue, every nation and every one-on-one interaction for Jesus.

The mandate. The Great Commission is for EVERY1, not only pastors, evangelists, the most holy or the already polished. EVERY1 calls people to accept Christ, accept His commission, build commissioned habits and train others. Salvation immediately opens into mission: what Jesus has done in us is carried to the person in front of us.

Certainty by knowing. EVERY1 does not organise its message around uncertainty. It brings certainty through knowing: knowing Jesus, knowing the pure and simple Gospel, and knowing His command to GO. A believer does not need to understand every method before obeying what Jesus has made clear. The Body then helps each person grow in truth, maturity and effectiveness as each part does its own special work. (Ephesians 4:12–13, 16)

This does not celebrate doctrinal error or careless ministry. It refuses to make polished expertise a prerequisite for simple Gospel obedience. Action on the Word produces hunger, hunger leads people deeper into Christ, and the Church equips them toward maturity.

The operating revelation. Ephesians 4:12–13, 16 provides the governing picture: Christ equips the Body, every part does its own special work, and the whole Body grows together in love. EVERY1 joins fire to position. Fire supplies power. Position supplies direction. Unity supplies multiplication. Systems supply sustainability. The Gospel and the Great Commission remain the controlling mission.

Taking position is not platform-seeking or self-appointment. It is accepting and stewarding the assignment God has given a believer within government, business, influence, family, ministry, medicine, or an intersection of those spheres. No sphere is the whole mission. Each part strengthens the others, and together they sustain the mission of reaching people with the Gospel.

The main thing. "We function in keeping the main thing the main thing." We function to promote the Great Commission and the winning of souls through the mandate of Jesus. Every sphere, system, ministry relationship and movement activity must serve that purpose. The spheres do not replace evangelism. They position the whole Body to carry, protect, resource, communicate, follow up and multiply the work of the Great Commission.

EVERY1 is designed for interworking among churches and ministries. Agreement around the essential Gospel and the Great Commission allows us to work together in soul winning without requiring uniformity on every secondary doctrine. In plain internal language: if we agree on the big stuff, you are welcome to take part.

Open, but not muted. This openness is not spiritual neutrality. EVERY1 is openly Spirit-led and continuationist. We expect the present ministry, gifts, leading and power of the Holy Spirit. Prayer for healing, deliverance, supernatural ministry and bold dependence upon the Spirit are part of the movement's normal environment, not optional language hidden to make cooperation easier.

We will not yield our passion for Jesus or the fire of the Holy Spirit for institutional acceptance, broader participation or greater comfort. We do not reduce unity to the least controversial message everyone can tolerate. A person, church or ministry does not have to mirror every expression or secondary conviction of THE WORD to cooperate. They must, however, understand the environment they are entering and respect Spirit-led ministry rather than oppose, suppress or continually contest it. We are not exclusive, but we will not shy away from the Holy Spirit.

Movement-level communication stays focused on the pure and simple Gospel, Spirit-led ministry, prayer, testimony, action, follow-up and mobilisation. It does not become a forum for arguing secondary doctrine, promoting a personality, recruiting people away from their local church, or advancing one participating ministry over another. Unity is not doctrinal carelessness: questions that affect the integrity of the Gospel, the work of the Holy Spirit, ethical conduct, safety or accountability must be addressed. Deeper doctrinal formation and pastoral care remain rooted in the local church.

The global horizon. EVERY1 is as personal as a conversation with a coworker and as large as a nation. Individual obedience replicates through communication, community and example until the knowledge of the Lord reaches from the least to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:11) For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV

The movement participates in the worldwide Gospel witness that precedes the Second Coming of Christ, and looks toward the final outpouring of God, the fullest expression of what most people mean when they speak of revival. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 NKJV

The system that sustains revival. Revival produces fire. EVERY1 provides Spirit-led structure that helps the Church sustain, direct and multiply that fire through specific acts of Gospel obedience. The system does not control the Holy Spirit. It channels the power and passion He places in believers into visible avenues of soul winning, follow-up, testimony, unity and continued action. EVERY1 moves people from spectatorship into participation: instead of seeing what God is doing somewhere else and wishing it would happen in their city, believers receive a clear pathway to act where they are.

Methodology. Accept Christ, accept the Commission, instill commissioned habits, train others.

Core participation loop. Accept the mission, do the mission, track what happened, see it on the feed, get inspired, repeat. Growth is pictured as multiplying fire: match, kindling, twigs, sticks, logs, wet logs, trees, forests, mountain ranges, the world.

Movement and app. The movement is larger than the app. EVERY1 is the people, the mandate, the culture and the worldwide action. The app is the supporting system that helps the movement track, communicate, inspire and equip at scale. In plain English: this is an app that makes preaching the Gospel fun and cool. It is built for the everyday believer and the wider Church, not as a promotional app for THE WORD. Ownership may be stated transparently, but the experience serves the mission rather than continually drawing attention back to the founding ministry.

EVERY1 messaging law. EVERY1 sounds high-energy, active, certain, global and inspiring. Lead with the mandate, the person in front of us, and the opportunity to act now. Use verbs: accept, GO, preach, reach, pray, do, track, connect, celebrate, repeat, train. Do not make confusion, reluctance or lack of permission the controlling emotional idea. EVERY1 supplies a clear mission and a path for action. Deeper formation belongs primarily to TRAIN.

Common phrases. "Every tribe, every tongue, every nation and every one-on-one interaction will be for Jesus." "EVERY1 will know the name Jesus." "EVERY1 in the Church for EVERY1 outside the Church."

Section 04What to say, outside and inside

In one sentence. EVERY1 is a high-energy global soul-winning movement uniting believers, churches and ministries so EVERY1 in the Church can reach EVERY1 outside the Church, until EVERY1 knows the name Jesus.

The primary mandate. EVERY1 is built on the certainty that Jesus has already given His Church the Great Commission. The question is not whether ordinary believers are allowed to participate. The call is for EVERY1: accept the mission, act on what you know, reach your 1, and help others do the same. Certainty comes from knowing Jesus, knowing the pure and simple Gospel, and knowing His command, not from waiting until every method is understood.

Outside · joining the movement

You were saved and sent. The Great Commission belongs to EVERY1, not only pastors, evangelists, experts or people with a platform. You already have somewhere to begin: tell one person what Jesus has done, preach the pure and simple Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit, pray for the sick, act in love, and reach your 1. EVERY1 is a global movement turning millions of individual acts of obedience into one worldwide mission. Accept the mission. Reach your 1. See what God is doing. Then GO again.

Primary CTA: Join EVERY1, Reach Your 1.

Inside · joined or serving

We are EVERY1 in the Church for EVERY1 outside the Church. We do not spectate revival. We carry it, steward it and spread it. Every person has a part, every act of obedience matters, and every one-on-one interaction can be for Jesus. Together we preach the Gospel, pray for people, follow up responsibly, connect people with the local church, report fruit truthfully, celebrate what God has done, and inspire one another to GO again.

Taking position together. Inside EVERY1, taking your position means discovering and stewarding the part God has given you in government, business, influence, family, ministry, medicine, or where those spheres meet. We do not compete for one visible role. Each person supplies what the whole Body needs. We cooperate across churches and ministries around the essential Gospel and this shared commission without requiring agreement on every secondary doctrine, and we do not mute or compartmentalise the Holy Spirit to preserve that cooperation. Movement spaces are for Spirit-led mission, testimony, prayer, healing, deliverance, follow-up and mobilisation, not doctrinal debate, ministry competition, sheep-stealing, or promotion of THE WORD.

The app. The EVERY1 app makes preaching the Gospel fun, social, visible and actionable. It supplies the movement with challenges, progress tracking, testimonies, community, inspiration and consent-based church follow-up. It exists to serve and scale the movement, not to promote THE WORD.

Section 05Who we speak to

The Sent Believer

Any age, newly saved or long saved

They want to matter in the Great Commission without leaving their job, their school, or their city.

Their pain: the belief that evangelism belongs to pastors and missionaries, and that they are unqualified.

They need to hear: "You are the minister. You do not need a title or a stage. Share Jesus with one person this week."

First step: share Jesus with one person · join the weekly prayer meeting.

The Partner Organisation

Churches, ministries, and conferences carrying the mark

They want to run an activation under EVERY1 without getting the brand or the message wrong.

Their pain: no clear standard to follow, and no way to check their work before it prints.

They need to hear: "Everything you need is published: the marks, the words, and a checker you can run yourself. Ask before it prints, not after."

First step: read brand.every1movement.com · run brand_check.py · write to brand@theword.world.

Section 06Voice, filter and phrases

Register. Plain, direct, and close to the field. Shorter sentences than the parent uses. Second person, because the reader is the one being sent.

Voice rules

  • Say what happened. A report of one real conversation is stronger than any adjective about it.
  • Write to the person being sent, not about them. "You are the minister," never "believers are ministers."
  • Keep the ask to one action. A page with three asks gets none of them done.
  • Never make sharing Jesus sound like a technique or a funnel. It is a conversation with a person.
  • Never imply a maturity requirement, an age requirement, or a qualification. The movement's whole claim is that there is none.
  • Numbers come from the record or they are not used. No estimates presented as counts.

The filter, inherited

Does this point people to Jesus Himself? Is every claim in it something we can show? Is it clear to a new believer? Does it ask for one thing? If the answer is unsure anywhere, simplify and centre Jesus.

Standing rules, inherited

Short sentences. One idea each. Say Jesus by name, not "faith," not "spirituality." Never invent a statistic, a quote, or a testimony; the record or nothing (Law II). Never manufacture a catchphrase: if a line has to be explained to be catchy, kill it. Invitation before information: every piece ends with something the reader can do.

Phrases we carry

  • EVERY1 in the church for EVERY1 outside the church
  • You are the minister
  • Fire starts fire
  • A lifestyle, not an event

Metaphor family

EVERY1 writes in Kingdom images: King, Kingdom, authority, government, assignment, occupy, advance, sphere, stewardship. Fire belongs to BURN and may support. Do not stack soil, construction and warfare imagery on top of both.

Section 07Language we do not use

Hype

next-level · next level · game-changer · game-changing · "God showed up and showed out" · "you won't believe" · walls of flame emojis · ALL-CAPS excitement · "something big is coming" · "you do not want to miss this" · "come expecting"

Manufactured intensity. Excitement must arise from substance, or it is not excitement, it is volume.

Corporate polish

synergy · engage stakeholders · "excited to announce" · lean in

Borrowed authority. It makes a ministry sound like a vendor and says nothing a person can act on.

Churchy insider talk

traveling mercies · hedge of protection · "love on" · "do life together" · "press in" · "contend for breakthrough" · "a God thing" · "fresh anointing" (unexplained) · "blessed to announce" · "get plugged in" · authentic community

Language that only works if you are already inside. It excludes the person we are trying to reach.

Generic ministry filler

life-changing · powerful experience · step into your destiny · your best life · new season · shift the atmosphere · unlock your potential · make an impact · transform the world · God-sized dream

Words that describe nothing. If the sentence survives with the phrase deleted, delete it.

Section 08The boilerplate paragraph

When another organisation needs one paragraph describing EVERY1, this is the paragraph. Use it as written.

The EVERY1 Movement is a movement of ordinary believers who share Jesus where they already live, work, and study. It is a lifestyle, not an event: you are the minister, sent by God everywhere you go. Every believer qualifies, and the first step is simply to share Jesus with one person this week.

EVERY1 carries no endorsement line and no parent lockup. Do not add "A ministry of THE WORD FOR ALL THE WORLD" and do not lock a parent mark to it.
